"If you book this property make sure you don't leave anything valuable in the house when you leave and expect to get it back. My son left his brand new Iphone 15 thr during our stay for Thanksgiving and the property managers still have not returned it to us. After contacting them several times and them saying they was going to mail it out here it is Jan and we still have have no phone. It was not like I was asking them to pay for it. I just got tired of kept asking. I would of rather them stated...

"The house was in a quiet area and very well cared for. The rooms were spacious and we had plenty of room for the family for our weekend Christmas. The owner was on site for the horses and was very helpful "

"This place was perfect for our extended family gathering over Thanksgiving weekend. We had 12 adults and 7 kids (ages 1 month - 8 years). We had ample sleeping rooms for all of us, and the large dining area easily accommodated our crew. The living room with three large couches (we swiveled one from the fire place room around to the LR) was also a really nice gathering space. We used the game room lots. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared and served a large dinner for the holiday. "

The surrounding mansions, such as the Upton House, Packard mansion and the Kinsman house also offer tours by appointment. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating! We are already planning our next visit to this historic area. "

"Charming 1800's house, comfortable accommodations, large supportive beds, oversized bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and very large dining room. I stayed here with 5 other women and we had plenty of room to spread out after a long day of shopping. If you love vintage houses and creaky floors this place is for you! We will be back!"
