"The hotel, located within blocks of the university, was perfect for my visit. The hotel was extremely clean and a friendly welcome at the front desk. Train did wake me but added a quaint touch to my experience. Picked the hotel for its unique feel and funky vibe. Loved it and would go back - within my budget. Thank you for a relaxing stay in Charlottesville."

"What a great surprise. Found this by browsing for accommodations while passing through the area. It’s a beautiful, historic Inn with excellent breakfast included. A fine dining restaurant is available in the evening. We stayed in one of the 8 cottages surrounding the main house. Property is beautiful with hiking trails and even a historic cemetery. Staff was friendly and accommodated requests. Highly recommend! We will go out of our way to return in the futur."

Great hotel!

"Great overall stay. Only complaints would be with other guests, allowing kids to run down hallways continuously. And also lazy guests using carts to take items to rooms and than just leaving carts outside their rooms after using them. I don’t fault the staff as they aren’t supposed to roam the hallways every half hour searching for lazy guests carts. I assume they are the who same people who don’t return shopping carts at grocery stores. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Onsite laundry for guests! Overall great stay and highly recommended! "
