"We loved our visit to Malabar Orchard! The grounds were extremely well kept and there were mowed pathways back to the well-stocked fishing pond. I caught five large bass in about an hour! It was peaceful and a great getaway for my wife and I. The owner tells you to bring drinking water, and that was great advice as the tapwater is well water and smells pretty poorly, but Mike has done a great job in putting together the rental property. "We had a great time at the lodge! It was very cold, so we played board games and watched movies. The setup is great for both, very clean and laid out well.The porch and location on the river would be amazing in the summer time! Make sure to bring drinking water if you don't like the taste of well water, there is an RO system as well that we used for morning coffee. Overall, great location, excellent communication from Drew, would be perfect for a family retreat or big group of friends."

Our only feedback, which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that the supplies felt very "bare bones". Things like spray oil for cooking, an ice cube tray, body wash, and extra blankets/throw blankets for living room area should be supplied IMO (especially since bedding comforters are extremely thin).
