"Great that you can combine a stay at the hotel with free spa access. Despite seeing reviews which say that the staff are unhelpful and offhand we found that the reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area . The breakfast was varied and of a decent quantity and the Spa is an experience worth having ! "

"The hotel was very pleasant, rooms were good and clean. The breakfast was nice as well. For some reason the pool area had a roper across to stop people accessing even though everyone was still using it. There wasn't very much nearly so was a bit of a walk to get to restaurants etc. We paid for spa access, didn't realise we needed a swim hat so had to purchase them at reception. The spa was okay but not the best standards - a little 'thrown together' with broken shower trays and the hot tub...

"The hotel is tired and is in need of a spruce up. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very good. Minus points were poor communication from reception, a kettle but no coffee and tea facilities and there was an iron but no ironing board. We requested on but it never arrived. With just a little more attention to details and a lick of paint, this would be a good place to stay. "

"Eco friendly... Left towels NOT on floor, they were changed anyway🙄.. Rug on entrance to hotel is absolutely filthy. Door to my room badly needs oil. Very stingy with tea bags in room. Requested some black tea bags as NONE had been left. Housekeeper came to. My door with 1 tea bag🙄🙄. 09/02/25 7.30 pm... Reception, housekeepers all very friendly. "
