"The property was comfortable and well equipped so it felt very much a home away from home which is what we were looking for. The only thing that would have improved the property was some planting to soften down the fencing of the outside area . The owner and the local contact were both really helpful and attentive and it was a nice touch to receive some veg from the land behind the house. All in all a good base for us to investigate wider area around Vejer as we had planned!"

"The place was in an area where all homes apparently had to be behind giant fences and gates. You have to travel tiny, bumpy dirt roads to get there. The host was very strange towards me, making me feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions. She also has no problem just showing up at your supposedly private home and often pops out of her home when she sees you walking to your car (you have to walk by her home to leave or get to your parking spot). My rental car was also damaged while parked there....

"It’s a very beautiful property with a great location. I would highlight that 2 of the rooms on the top floor and the room on the ground floor doesn’t have Air conditioning which in very hot days makes it difficult to sleep even though it has a fan on the ceiling. Also the facilities on the ground floor, the bathroom is exposed (no doors) - has no privacy which is very odd, if you are spending days with family or friends. Everyone had to use the other bathrooms in the house. The outside garden...

"This is a lovely rustic property in the hills above Bolonia. The views and grounds are beautiful. Things to note: the roads are not paved well as you get near the house and there are stairs. Some of the showers are in buildings that are outside. The manager is very responsive and the place is very relaxing."

"We have just returned from 2 weeks at Casa Charms and loved every minute of it. The house is rustic and has an eclectic mix of furnishings which we found charming. There is so much space with so many areas to sit and relax. Spent the night time playing cards on the veranda and also ate all of our meals there.The annex worked really well for us as it gave our 19 year old son his own space. "We had a wonderful relaxing 5 night stay at the Carin’s finca. Carin was a great host, the house was lovely, and the grounds, including the pool, are beautiful. Not only is it a great place to be but it’s really well located for exploring the area. From there we drove to Cádiz to explore the old town, observation tower, and cathedral; Jerez de la Frontera for it’s amazing castle and sherry tours; Tarifa for whale watching; and there are too many quiet and beautiful beaches to count. "We had a lovely 10 day stay at Duncan’s cottage. The kids loved it. The pool is perfect; it was too hot to do much else. The little town nearby is great with all the shops and restaurants you’ll need. The cottage itself is great and has everything you need and Duncan is a perfect host. "
