"We had a great stay in Bardstown for some bourbon tastings and tours and we loved “The Hutch”. Laura and family were wonderful Host and the home has so much history and character. We would stay here again and recommend it highly!"

"The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended."

"This property was easy to find and very well maintained. It was interesting being on a working farm. Caron had a great book with lots of information. She left us some country ham and biscuits. She had everything we could have ever needed. We love all the sunsets & all the fireflies. Our family became Makers Mark Ambasssdors a few years back and we planned this family vacation to pick up our bourbon. We had a wonderful time. Thanks, Caron"

"The cottage is adorable, as advertised, but the mattress is not comfortable, and the bed pillows are too full and firm (woke up with a sore neck). My ratings would be much better with a new mattress and pillows. "

"Host made us feel very welcome with items for young kids, breakfast foods, and beautiful prrsonaluzed ornament. House beautil inside and out and kids loved the animals, swings and cirn hole. Guys lived the driving range. Beautiful light to sit outside and talk after kids were tucked in bed. Beds so comfortable! wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We were traveling with a total group of 8 (4 couples), and this house was perfect for everyone to have a comfortable and private place. It also was great for cooking in several very nice dinners as a group. House had everything we needed, was quiet and private, and well laid out for a group that is traveling together."

"Excellent place to stay. It was very clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The porch is a great bonus as we spent hours sitting there just watching and listening to the sights and sounds of a quaint small town. Our host stopped by to say hello and we had a nice conversation about the town and house. We would happily stay here again."
