"6 women spent a restful and challenging weekend together in this beautiful home. Beds are comfortable. Home is beautiful and cozy. Our chef commented that this was the most comfortable kitchen she has ever worked in. For an old house, it was remarkably quiet and not drafty! May or may not be haunted…depends on who you ask. ;). Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"The Lakeside Retreat is great! Cleanliness is my highest priority and it was clean! It had everything we needed and was located on such a sweet spot. The pictures do not due is justice as the space is very functional and conducive for gathering and doing different activities. We would definitely return."

"My family of six and I as well as our fur baby Frank spent an incredible five days at this property. The property is beautiful and the lake even more so. Situated just 13 minutes from anything you need in Alexandria, this lakefront property sits at the end of the road, which provides Seclusion and privacy. The garage provides plenty of recreational space and it is just a few short steps on flatland from the door to the dock. The fishing on the lake was also fantastic. Will definitely come back"

"Home was very well equipped and very clean. Quiet and peaceful and plenty of room for our family of 10. Enjoyed the pool table and foosball table. Located in an easy to access area within a couple of miles of restaurants, groceries, gas, and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and only wish it had been summer so that we could have enjoyed the lake. Wonderful place to stay. We hope to come back in the future."

My family stayed at the guesthouse before an early flight out of St. Cloud. It offered enough space and was perfect for the seven of us. It is also a unique property and was a rustic place.
