"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Owl's Nest. We were able to check in early because the host communicated when the property was ready. The cabin is clean, cozy and packed with amenities and fun! We played basketball, kayaked, completed a beautiful wooden puzzle, enjoyed 2 family movies and most importantly relaxed! This was our 2nd spring break trip to the Owl's Nest and we look forward to booking again! Thank you!!"

The property itself had an amazing architectural layout that you can tell a lot of planning went into, plenty of things to do, and was in a very quiet/peaceful area in the woods. "We were at Deep Creek during the off season, and the area was very quiet & beautiful. The location was in a small neighborhood where it was easy to walk our dogs. The house looked very much like the photos; best parts were probably the private deck with hot tub, kitchen, and upstairs loft. Our host provided many great recommendations for local eats and there is an amusement center in town with go karts, mini golf, ninja course, and arcade machines which we enjoyed. "My husband, daughter and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hexagonal log cabin in Deep Creek! The cabin was incredibly spacious and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The fireplace was perfect for cozy nights in, and the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring. We also loved the selection of fun board games—perfect for family nights! "The cabin was pretty clean, it had enough room and space for 10 people and we have extra beds left. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils and plates, bowls, pans, etc. It was overall great! Unfortunately we had bad weather and the couches and the grill got all wet since the wind blew the covers. Also, the grill was not cleaned by guest and it was left all dirty so we had to clean it just to find out it didn’t have gas. "

"Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings."

"Amazing find! What a unique accommodation. Rustic but refined with all the amenities of home but with peace, quiet and nature. Enjoyed exploring the grounds and hiking trails and even came across a porcupine. Would definitely stay here again. Probably the best accommodation in the whole area. I can’t imagine coming to deep creek and staying in a boring condo or lake house. Looking forward to checking out every cabin on the property! 5 stars all the way."

"Wonderful place to stay if in the area. The cabin was clean and spacious enough for our time there. The host was wonderful with communicating, especially as we were a last minute booking. The place was warm and cozy! We would stay here again. "

"Although the weather wasn't ideal, the cabin was wonderful and perfect for our group, including our senior citizen dog who is too old to board these days. Thanks for everything."

"Some areas of the cabin are a bit dated, like the downstairs bathroom. But overall it is a very nice cabin, and we enjoyed our stay. Take bear safety seriously, we saw a bear near the cabin one morning. Lots of deer in the area too."
