Enjoyed exploring the grounds and hiking trails and even came across a porcupine. Would definitely stay here again. Probably the best accommodation in the whole area. "The house is charming and immaculate and positioned at the end of a road and just above the Casselman River. The host is friendly and flexible. While ours was a winter visit, the abundant forests, rivers, walking and biking paths, state parks and historic sites make this a warm weather base for active people."

"Some areas of the cabin are a bit dated, like the downstairs bathroom. But overall it is a very nice cabin, and we enjoyed our stay. Take bear safety seriously, we saw a bear near the cabin one morning. Lots of deer in the area too."

"Very nice cabin tucked into the woods. Place was clean and cozy. We had an issue with the gas fireplace but service got it working. The master bed was problematic. Basically a box spring and mattress on the floor between a bed frame. Not sure if the slats were broken or missing, but it created a very low to the floor bed. Only other issue was the toaster. Something is stuck in the that sets off the smoke alarms. I tried clearing it with no luck. We’d rent this place again"
