"This hotel takes me back in time.. not in my time.. I truly appreciate history and I love the decor of this hotel. Such careful attention was paid to the renovation to reflect the original build. We were even there for a Jazz Band and the only thing missing were retro costumes.. It could have been 1928. Very cool! The room was beautiful with lots of storage and the dinner options were amazing. Great places to eat right here at the hotel. It is a little off the path, but what fun it was to walk or take convenient transportation just outside the front entrance to explore the other parts of the city. Our stay was wonderful.. Thank you so very much."

"Nice hotel conveniently located close to Oslo station. Due to Easter some bars were closed which was disappointing resulting in very limited availability for The Terrace at the Top. Very helpful and polite staff. Spotless clean in all areas "

"I have been coming here for a few years it’s a good place to stay nice rooms, the amenities are nice they have a Sauna, Steam room two showers by both of them one is cold which you want to use after a good sauna session the other one is both hot and cold water there is three nobs but there is a caveat it’s motion sensors to automatically turn on you just have to figure out if you want hot or cold. The steam room is nice only suggestion would be to tile the ceiling so that you don’t have to keep repainting the ceiling. Oh the pool is really good too they have a gym you can work out in. The Breakfast is delicious. I come for inferno festival, it’s a lot of fun. The hotel is used by the conference for the festival and to get our wristbands. The staff is friendly and they are very professional and they go above and beyond."

"Had been at Oslo and Bergen CityBox before and loved it. This time, my room was so small I could only actually stand up in half the room, room 613, right under the room by the eaves. Sadly, I am not kidding. Getting in the shower was not easy either. I understand the "box" concept and love it, but room 613 should NOT be a room but a broom closet!"
