"Javier graciously allowed us to check in at 10:00am, which was so nice after flying overnight from the States. He met us at the door and gave us a thorough review of the stylishly decorated apartment. The unit is in a building built in the 1850, but the apartment has been elegantly updated. Javier reached out to us everyday to ensure that all of our needs were being met. We made a new friend and will attend the Opera with him when we return to Madrid. I recommend this property highly. "

But you still have to book a Grab or Taxi, so perhaps staying in town no difference. The apartment does provide a kettle, cups, cutlery, refrigerator.
