"Sue and Avril really made our stay pleasant. From the moment I had contact with Sue (requesting another night stay) to dinner reservations and afternoon tea when we arrived, she was constantly engaged with us and making our stay at her beautiful Thistle House warm and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous and held us on our daily hikes. "Nice central place to stay. Staff nice and helpful. Only down side was the bottom surround of the shower had black mould the rest of the room was lovely n clean. As was only staying 1 night was able to miss using the shower. Would still recommend but advise to have this issue seen to."

"The owners were fabulous and so kind. This was my favorite stop on our trip. The breakfast was so delicious and came out so quickly. The property is beautiful and is so close to the Birks and the center of town you can walk everywhere. I will definitely return on my next trip to Aberfeldy. "

"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "
