"The Apple Store was exactly as described and we are likely to return.A beautiful rental with some interesting and quirky features that I appreciated, such as the old school desk. I also appreciated things like the books and DVDs.The bedding is to die for, just stunning. Very comfortable outdoor seating, which probably needs a photo update so that people can see what they'll be reclining in when taking in the outstanding views.The owner is friendly, helpful and accommodating and the accommodation...

"We had an amazing stay at this cottage for a few days of walking the Brecon Beacons. Cottage has everything needed, is in a great location for walking and has an amazing pub ‘Royal Oak’ with superb food in easy walking distance. Pity about the issue with the heating and TV didn’t work, but these were minor issues compared to the great cottage. Thank you Richard"

"Amazing cottage in centre of Hay on Wye, cosy and comfortable with everything needed for a restful and enjoyable break away form the hustle and bustle of normal life. There was not enough time to explore the area to the full and we are already planning on returning next year for longer stay."

"My family and I enjoyed the stay at this property. Beds were comfortable, hot showers and plenty of bath water for a long soak after walking up Pen Y Fan which is just down the road. Kitchen well equipped, lots of space at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep which is normal for this type of cottage. There is a lovely outdoor space at the back. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. "

"Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

"Accurate to description, great communication from host, perfect for our needs. Lots of information available for guests. Great shower! Loved seeing the cows from the bathroom window. Many thanks to our hosts!"

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."

"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

"Very clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds, very peaceful area. Toys for children, loads of books, close to Monmouth Brecon canal for walks or cycling. Lots to do in the area."

"A very nice place to relax and just be. Run by very nice people who were always helpful and friendly. Great pizzas on offer were a real bonus, as we're firepits and wood being available. Will most likely be back in future. "
