The only negative comment we have about the hotel is that the walls are very thin and you can hear people walking in the corridor and talking in the adjoining rooms like they are sat next to you. Which when it’s a rowdy bunch of dudes on a golfing weekend means no sleep. "

"The priory is a 12th century building, it has a beautiful architectural style with character and charm, set in a beautiful grounds within a short walk of the ancient Roman amphitheatre, and the Roman legion museum which are free to visit. As for the staff, they make it, friendly, helpful, a warm cheeky charm and a welcoming demeanour. We loved our 3 night stay. "
