"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. "We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Just want to point out accessibility issues not highlighted on property description: Very steep hill from the car park up to the tents and then further up to the toilets and cabin, slippery in the rain and beds are mattresses on the floor. Beautiful location, tents cozy despite bad weather and all slept well."

"Booked this fairly last minute for a bit of peace and quiet and good views and it did not disappoint! Place was spotless with everything you could need. "Really nice property with lovely views. Nice owner. The check in process was a bit difficult due to navigation issues as it is hard to find recommend using what 3 words app to help. Surrounding area is very quiet if you are looking for a quiet get away. Very clean area and property. However there is no wifi and the property was listed to have this and the gas fire did not come with any instructions so we could not use it, but there is a heated floor which is lovely. "

"This place hasn't been look after at all for years!When we arrived could only see massive stinging nettles and dumping area. The yurt was dirty, smelled of damp and mould. The towels were not provided as per webside offer and beds were uncomfortable and bedding didn't smell fresh at all. The lightning didn't work on a patio either. "Came for my birthday. Spacious apartment, mostly clean except a lot of the cutlery & plates but I cleaned them myself. Unfortunately the refrigerator wasn’t working and I did let them know but nothing was done. Check in and check out was confusing and not reception to ask questions to so had to phone them up multiple times. I don’t believe I’ve had my security deposit back either and it’s been over a week now. Average place."
