"For our anniversary trip on Feb 28th, I wanted more than just a room with beds, so I reserved a kitchenette room. The mini kitchen, with a table, chairs, and cooktop, was perfect for our two-night stay. The patio door opened to an ocean view, with a walking path and easy-to-access trails to the beach. The fire pits were great, and the cool bathroom mirror's lighting was perfect for makeup and contacts. The parking in front of your room was great too. Check-in was easy, and the friendly staff helped us add an extra night by moving us to another room. The upstairs room with a king-sized bed also had a great ocean view, though it could use a small sofa or another chair. Overall, it was a great stay, and I highly recommend this motel. "

"Serene space in Little River Mendocino. I’ve stayed at the little farm several times it is actually a farm with chickens you can feed and llamas you can pet they have a main lodge as well as accommodations across the road closer to the water very homey and cosy in the woods. fabulous chocolate chip cookies, great staff they also have a nice coffee bar that’s open 24 hours. Less than five minutes from downtown Mendocino."

"Very nice, incredible when you consider the price. Great location. All it lacked was a second chair in the room. Even a simple folding chair would work. Very nice people operating the place. I ended up staying extra days because it was so nice. Great location for riding a bicycle along the trail along the coast. "

"Such a charming place, perfectly situated near the beach and just a short drive from the quaint town of Mendocino. It was a lovely little getaway for me and my dog. This is a hostless hotel, which I didn’t mind at all—their texting staff was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. I especially appreciated the early check-in notification, allowing me to settle in two hours before the standard 4 PM check-in time. The atmosphere here is so peaceful. My only minor complaint is that the room stayed a bit warm, but they provided a box fan, which helped a lot. Other than that, I was very comfortable throughout my stay. I visited for a hiking trip, and after a long day on the trails, it was wonderful to come back, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy the chardonnay provided by the hotel. The only downside is that food options are quite limited—there's no fast food, DoorDash isn’t available, and the nearby Little River Market closes at 7 PM. After a long hike, I was starving and had to drive into Mendocino for basic groceries. However, with better planning next time, this won’t be a deal-breaker for me. All in all, this place is absolutely adorable, full of charm and comfort, and I will definitely be coming back!"
