"I had a very comfortable stay at the George which was in a convenient location for my particular visit to the Isle of Man on this occasion. My room was good with an ensuite bathroom which was fine. I appreciated having a well stocked tea and coffee tray in the room. I had a comfortable bed. Castletown is a pleasant place to stay with enjoyable coastal walks from there when the weather is good. Castletown also has a good bus service and the Railway station is not too far away from the centre. Thank you to the staff at the George and I would stay at the George again when in the Isle of Man "

"Had room 406 on the top floor with a sea view and plenty of space. Reasonably quite room with minimal noise from vehicles in the street. Good views out to sea. The floor slightly slopes in parts. Breakfast was included and provided a good range of food. At times it was very busy and there were the occasional short delays whilst items were re-stocked. We ate dinner in the Braserie 3 times and it was good quality. Would recommend the Empress."
