"The best (family) hotel in the Isle of Man? We were on the island for a few days and wanted to cover as much as possible of the island. The location was perfect to cover north, south, west and eastern parts of the island. We got a connecting room and had some disturbance in the morning from the room next to us but the staff blocked it off after the guest checked out. Excellent service. Breakfast is somewhat basic but had everything you needed and a great scrambled egg. Big parking space, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and nice Christmas decoration which gave a nice ambiance. They even have an indoor pool included in the stay, and with option to add access to spa or have treatments. We had a great stay here. Thank you!"

"Great find, on the seafront. Modern interiors, lovely room and the staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for you. Rooms have free crisps /drinks/chocolate - which are replenished daily, a lovely touch. Restaurant was great, steak cooked to perfection as was the room service . Really friendly people, would highly recommend a stay there."

"The Claremont is in a perfect location on the seaside in central Douglas. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient. Dinner as well as breakfast the next morning were wonderful. Room had a tub AND a walk-in shower! "
