"Cheaper to book through the internet than booking through the hotel's website? strange. My stay was lovely, the pub is lively but not late, the food was good and my room was very comfortable. Parking was a real bonus."

"Really beaitiful country pub with a fantastic selection of drinks. The menu was varied and our meals were very well cooked. The waiter was great and we enjoyed our time in the pub itself. The room we had was a twin, unfortunately there were no double bed rooms left but thats ok. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was well decorated, clean and we had tea and coffee facilities. A nice clean bathroom. All round good value. We were offered the chance to book breakfast in the morning but...

"It was comfortable & room quiet after a long drive. service was reasonable considering the staff were stretched during an afternoon party. People were generally pleasant and did well. Pity no food on offer on a Sunday night but since it was a central location there was plenty on offer locally."

"Great pub with unique rooms. Very welcoming staff and included breakfast was excellent with cooked options. We also ate in the restaurant and again the food was great. Lovely walk down to Bewl water from pub as well. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Amazing place to stay with history and cozy English cottage ambiance. Great friendly staff, beautiful linens in rooms, not huge so never overrun, in a quiet area about 12 min taxi from Gatwick airport. Absolutely wonderful food options and portions. Can’t stress these awesome things enough! Wish I could stay there! "
