"Delightful in every respect. For us it’s a convenient stop off on our way up north to visit family, close to the motorway, easy to access with ample parking. The house and estate are stunning, so well maintained. The welcome is very friendly and efficient. "Green kings puds are great for a cheap, good quality meal and drink. The fact there is a hotel with nice clean spacious room next door makes it an easy choice. The rooms where clean, with daily house keeping. The only point that could do with improvement was the hall paint work was badly scratched."

"Good location - staff friendly and helpful - room lightening very dull to read anything only bathroom light bright - no lifts only stairs - beds were small I was frightened to turn over incase I fell out of bed - seems an old building g needs a refurb to modernise it - windows didn’t open to stay open enough to get signing and radiators in a timer room very warm- otherwise it served the purpose glad we only stayed 1 night "

"Had a fabulous 2 night stay there for a friend’s birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and excellent value for money. The room was very quaint and comfortable and the price included a fabulous cooked breakfast. Only minutes walk from town so perfect for exploring Chester. Overall a little gem."
