"We stayed 2 nights at the Grosvenor for the first and last night of our 14-day cycling holiday. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Moreover they went out of their way to help us. First by allowing us to store our bike boxes, second by providing us with a bucket to clean our muddy bikes when we returned and third and most importantly helping us to catch our plane on time. "Our group chose to stay in Ashburton prior to flying out of Christchurch the next day. Taylors Motel was a great choice. Spacious and clean rooms (we had the 2-bedroom) and lounge area. Kitchen (fridge and stove) was small, however had everything we needed. Quiet location and short walk to shops, cafes. Friendly owners and easy check-in/out. "

"I was disappointed that the fog didn’t lift until the morning of my check-out time. Most of my two night stay there was low fog over the river & you couldn’t see the mountains at all. However the apartment was really spacious & comfortable, plus had everything you could need in the kitchen. The staff were lovely & although I didn’t have a meal at the Clubhouse, I ordered some takeaway snacks which were really delicious. I would go back! "

"Just seemed rather expensive considering a lack of view plus the room was rather dark. Otherwise, very clean and nice."

"The staff were very welcoming kind and accomodating of our needs. We enjoyed the simplicity and cleanliness of the place! The only downside which was definitely not a major was the pool was a little green! Other than that it was awesome and we would stay again if we’re ever in the area :) "
