"Tucked away, this farmhouse is just superb! Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was the most powerful I’ve ever enjoyed! Kirsty and Neil are good hosts, ready to offer recommendations if asked, but will leave you to yourselves if you prefer. They keep pigs and chickens, which we were lucky enough to feed, and I can report that the sausages, bacon & eggs at breakfast were very tasty! Added bonus of homemade cakes left out, delicious! Thanks Kirsty & Neil"

"We had such a comfortable stay @ Harrabeer country house. We had a very warm welcome after a long day driving with a nice cuppa and biscuits. The room we had was superb, clean, spacious and very comfortable - exactly what we needed after long days exploring. Brekkie was also delicious! "After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too"

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

1st class stay.

"Amazing hotel with spectacular views. Service was first class by staff who always had a smile. One of the owners, Ted Stourton always seemed to be around checking that everything was ok, even at dinner moving from table to table, engaging with guests. Food was superb although menu was small. Will be returning in the near future."

"Lovely modern clean hotel, perfect for exploring the city, rooms a little on the small side but fine for a short break. Would definitely stay again. The only slight negative there was that an event on in the foyer one night which was very busy & struggled to get access to & from the main entrance, especially guests with their suitcases & dogs. Reception never informed us so we were unaware of the times to avoid. "
