"10 of us stayed here for a new year and it was lovely. The house is very big and has lots of space. The living room was lovely with a fireplace. It is an old house so there were a couple cobwebs and dustiness is some places but that is to be expected. Ken was a lovey host to welcomed us at check in and explained how everything worker, for example the Arga oven and heating system. Would recommend for families and large group of friends. "

"The location was amazing with lovely views of the country. However, we had real issues with the cleanliness of the property. The issues included cobwebs (in pretty much every room) dirty sheets including the cot, unscrubed loos and soaking wet lounger cushions that had been left out. Whilst an attempt had been made to clean the stair carpet it was clear that a duralex glass had been broken on the stairs as shards of glass were found not only on the stairs but also on the ground floor. "We had a lovely time at Mill Rythe, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the accommodation was lovely, very comfortable and clean. It was lovely to swim in the warm swimming pool everyday. Would definitly go back for a return visit. The neighbouring Donkey sanctuary is also brilliant! "

"Pretty grounds and lake; the alpacas and goats were particularly friendly. The accommodation was compact but had everything available - fridge/kitchen etc. The bed was very comfortable "

Brilliant value.

"We stayed the night when attending a show at the Anvil. The hotel was convenient for the town centre restaurants and the theatre. The hotel has free parking. Our room was spotless and clearly recently renovated. Other rooms had workmen replacing bathrooms, so the hotel Is being smartened up. The bed was comfortable, and the room warm. Reception staff were helpful. Overall, for the price we paid, it was excellent value for money and we will definately use again. We didnt stay for breakfast, so cant comment on food."

"Hotels was nice, little bit of a maze to find the room but the rooms were clean and in good condition, few things lacking;extra pillows, towels and water in the room. But all around a nice plac, will visit again. I must also compliment the hotel staff, from the cleaners to reception all were super friendly and went the extra mile for greetings."
