"I have stayed 7 nights and relied on public transports in order to visit Nice, Cannes and Monaco. The breakfast wasn't great, but I did take coffees upstairs to the accommodation and had some pastries I bought at the supermarket nearby. There were thunderstorms at some point and I had to stay indoors, and it was quiet and relaxing and I just watched Netflix. "I could not find fault in the property. It is centrally located and customer service was excellent and this will set them apart from the rest. "We have stayed here many times with variable opinions each time. The location is fabulous but the place is beginning to look tired and in need of a good refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. It is a large property and the inflated price reflects the location not the property itself, considering you only get one set of towels per person, have to strip beds and clean at the end of the stay otherwise you are charged. "We had a great stay in this hotel - the staff were very friendly, and although we had an issue with our shower, this was quickly resolved while we were out for the day. The hotel is in an ideal location, close to the beach and train station - would definitely recommend! "

"Was a lovely room however could have done with more than just one toilet roll for staying a week. Could have pre warned there was no room service to clean the rooms, change the bins. Also was disappointed the pool wasn’t like the pictures there wasn’t no water in it. However the hotel was very clean and quiet. I would stay again if the pool was open. "

"Terrible overall, we did not stay. Left upon checking in. The front desk was helpful Very hard to find the reception upon arrival. Is a huge complex, shared with other hosts. It is more like residential buildings, looked very creepy and unsafe. Very outdated, old…. bad crowd everywhere, like street trash….the room was with no double queen or king beds…. old apartments We left right away"

"What a great place to stay when visiting Nice! Directly across from Blue Beach. Spend a little extra for the sea view room and listen to the sea all night long. The hotel, room and property was very clean. Excellent and attentive staff. The hotel is located in a safe area and still within about a 20 minute walk to Old Nice for the markets, shopping and dining. Take in the view from Castle Hill or for more activity, walk to see the view from the top of Mount Boron. "

"I enjoyed my brief stay here. The hotel is clean and well cared for. There are multiple areas to sit and relax in the lobby area which I liked. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Although I’m in Nice to learn French it was good to be able to converse in English when needed. I’ll definitely stay again. "

"I’ve stayed at some incredible five-star hotels in the past, but nothing compares to Hotel El Negresco. The experience was, by far, the most amazing I've ever had. I can't stop raving about the staff! Juliette and Philippe, the concierges, truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was impeccable; they are the stars of the show. They arranged a car rental for us and recommended the most incredible places to see. This trip was very important for my family, and Jerome was incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. He had our keys ready, an umbrella on hand, and ensured that we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff, including Tom and Eric at the front door, were also extremely attentive and welcoming. I can't forget to mention the wonderful ladies and gentlemen at breakfast. The service was top-tier! I’m sure I’m missing a few names, but every single staff member was amazing. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Hotel El Negresco! "
