"The Surfrider is my go-to for beach overnighters. The location is great, with a direct trail down to Fogarty Creek beach, a lovely and dog-friendly cove. Almost every room has an ocean front view and a balcony or patio, and comes equipped with the typical coffee service, microwave, and mini fridge. There is a restaurant and bar on-site, serving the basics at prices you expect on the coast :) It was closed for remodeling on this visit, which was a bummer but I just drove into Depoe Bay for dinner...

"How can you not love sitting in 104 degree water while listening to the waves crash on the shore!! Beautiful property with everything you need. Spices, utensils and a BBQ. My wife and I both have back injuries and beds are tough to sleep in while vacationing but I would have taken this one if I had brought my truck! Best Stay in a long time….TY!!!!!!!"

"We stayed for 4 nights for a sisters get away without kids. Woo hoo! Perfect place to relax, chat, laugh, and explore. This cute house had the best beach view from the deck. A bit dated, but has a cozy welcoming vibe. Would definitely stay again. "

"Overall it was very nice and accommodated all our needs. We did have 3 small children in the group. The fact there were no screens on the upstairs windows is a hazard. For safety reasons, you really should get screens on them. Other than that, it was a great place to stay, and everyone I had contact with was very helpful."

"This property is very rustic and old. The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking if you are planning on cooking in it. We also couldn’t use the kitchen sink initially because the faucet was leaking so excessively that water was running out onto the floor when turned on, but manager came to provide a fix although the faucet needs to be replaced. "Overall, I was happy with the value for the rental given the location and the number of bedrooms/beds for 4 adults and three children. The bunkbeds were ideal to accommodate the children in one bedroom. There is a number of issues that need to be addressed to raise the overall rating to 5-stars. Maintenance issues outstanding: 1.
