"We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. "Our entire family including 5 grandchildren enjoyed a long weekend at this lovely home. Bedrooms and baths were just what we needed. It could have been cleaner but nothing that would keep me from staying there again. My only complaint is the seating for dining for 13 people was difficult. The view is unbeatable and the wood was well stocked so we could enjoy the fireplace on an extremely cold weekend. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. "

"Friends and I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here. The cabin was as expected from the pictures. It was nice and clean, somewhat secluded, the views were great, and it was very relaxing. It was very close to the Beech Mountain tubing and not far from the Alpine Coaster, which we took advantage of. Booking was very easy, and the host was very timely with messages. "The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. In spite of some pretty chilly weather the family enjoyed fishing, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals .
