"Great place to stay. Exactly as described. The only things i can point out was the kitchen was a little sticky on the floor and cabinet drawer handles. The fact we have to take out our own trash it a little weird since we pay for cleaning. And we were in a truck and needed to back into the actual driveway bc the turn was very sharp.But over all i highly recommend. "

"Cannot say enough good things about this cabin. Even after the devastation our NC mountains sustained most places are up and running again in this part of the mountains. While many people are still recovering from it all luckily this cabin was fortunate enough to not see any of the damage. Owner was in contact several times to make sure everything was good and Evan made sure we had enough wood to enjoy the fireplace while we were there. "

The property itself was beautiful, especially with the snow-covered landscape, and perfect for a cozy winter getaway. "We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!"

"My daughter and I staid here while volunteering in the area. All the windows downstairs show the beautiful view while the loft allows for more privacy. All the necessities were there and a gorgeous deck it was too cold for us to enjoy much of. Host was very responsive and helpful! We will definitely be back! "

"The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. In spite of some pretty chilly weather the family enjoyed fishing, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals . "We spent a couple of nights at this lovely quaint cabin while traveling through Tennessee. It far exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to sit back, relax, watch the snow fall and be entertained by the peacocks, read and just enjoy the beauty of the property.
