Very slow reception staff with not much personality but reception ambience lovely with the Freddie pics & music. Standard Room was fine on 4th floor - no view although on lake side & tap was slow to drain and drains smelt a little. Coffee machine and motorised blinds were good - no AC - very soft pillows but single beds comfy and room v spacious. Shower was excellent and nice towels. Although...

"The hotel and staff were great however when we stayed it was exstremly warm 31 deg C. The rooms do not have air con and the only thing we could do was open the window whichthen meant our room would settle at 31 deg C. As it was cooler on the night we left the window open but we got a lot of noise from the train station. All in all yes we would stay there again as the staff were great and hotel spotless."

The place is extremely clean, but a little age is showing and low cost improvements. I am sure this is out of season and hotel is in a maintenance mode so the restaurant was closed. "
