"Our room was clean with a historic feel but with modern amenities. The air conditioner worked well. The room was quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast. We only stayed overnight and did not have time to enjoy the patio between the 2 houses. That area looked really peaceful. We will definitely come back when in the area again. "

And she was delightful, so welcoming and full of stories, but still giving us privacy to soak in every morsel of Old Salem charm in the home owned by Dr. Zevely. "My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!"
