"My boyfriend and I had to cancel a vacation earlier this year due to a pet emergency and booked this as a last minute makeup vacation. The location is perfectly situated between pilot mountain and Winston Salem, so we got a good mix of outdoor adventure and city exploring. The cabin and grounds themselves were also GORGEOUS! We loved watching sunrise from the patio with some cocoa and had a picnic down by the river walking distance from the house. Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely...

A few little problems. The TV remote batteries were all dead or the remotes didnt work so was unable to use the TV. "Sofa was uncomfortable due to pronounced sagging. Property manager responses were fast and effective. Front door was warped and desperately needed replacing and insulation around door frame. Unit was well supplied with cleaning materials, etc. there is a periodic leak above the bathtub that appears to come from the floor above. See the stains at the wall/ceiling joint at back of the tub. A small eating table 2 chairs would be nice. Our stay was pleasent and satisfactory."

"I was in town for work at the hospital, and this place was perfect. It is just down the road from Wake Forest Baptist, and the rental was everything I expected and more. Out of all of the VRBO's I have stayed at that were 1 or 2 bedroom, this was by far the best stocked. GREAT kitchen with everything you could want, and there was also a washer and dryer.
