"With the beach opposite the hotel this was a fantastic overnight stop. It would have been worth pre-booking parking, though we were able to book the last space. There are traffic restrictions in place, but the hotel arrange the correct authorities are notified for you so that any penalties are avoided. "Quadruple room was too small even for 1 person. We stayed in much bigger and better hotel in nearby La Spezia for half the price. Also the description was misleading, it said 2 double beds and 2 single beds, while it actually was 1 double bed (which is for 2 people) and 1 bunk bed. Check in was cumbersome as they couldn't explain in clear English that that room can actually take 4 people, also the room reeked tobacco smoke (though they changed it after). I will not stay in this hotel again. It...

But during the heatwave of 2024, it lacked some decent air conditioning, However, you can't beat the truly amazing location, the view, the history, and the proximity to restaurants and bars as well as the ferry to Cinque Terre. Parking, on the other hand ... get there by train if you can (no fault of the hotel). "
