"This place is truly special and certainly a unique experience. As soon as we arrived, Nieves and her husband immediately made us feel welcome and gave us invaluable advice about the local area, restaurants and beaches (even the wind direction!). The building is a beautiful mansion with a quiet pool and gardens which include hammocks and seating built by their carpenter. "Casina Romita was a great choice for us, the location of the property is extremely practical as the place is 15 mins from the Lecce city centre by car and is easily accessible from the main road. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts rotate the cheese selection every other morning so if you stay long enough you will for sure have a chance to try all of the signature cheeses of the region. The room was clean and tidy and the garden with the pool is beautiful. "

"This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. Valentina and her father, Alessandro, were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their house. Thank you!"
