"A non smoking apartment welcomed me with a cigarette or similar smell which was present thorughout my stay. The place lacks deep cleaning, most of the cabinets, doors and other frequently used areas were dirty and not properly cleaned. This place is not worthy your money. "

We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...
