"The property is stunning. However, more training is needed for the staff. Ordered food from one of the pool bars and after an hour, my food never arrived. The remote in my room didnt work, i requested service, it never came. I asked for menus to the restaurants to determine where to go for dinner and no one could get this information for me. So, with some training, this has the potential to be a 5 star resort"

"Excellent service at buffet and restaurant. Very bad service at reception . Air conditioning didn’t work and it took 3 days to get a new room. Very hard to get a reservation , since there are only 2 restaurants. "

"Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. When in Mauritius, I will always go back to this hotel. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one!!!!"

"We had a fantastic 5 days at this resort. Everything worked very well. Our room had a wonderful terrace/balcony, was spacious, clean with all the necessary amenities. The beach was a stone throw from our accommodation; sandy and a little rocky like all beaches in Mauritius. Food was very good, both the Indian and Italian buffets, as well as the a la carte. My only gripe is the cost of wine, which is true of all hotels in Mauritius. Many Brits/French and Russians. "
