L’endroit est calme, c’est hyper propre et il y a une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Le déjeuner est bon et copieux. De plus il y a deux restos à deux pas pour le dîner. "1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"

"We wish to thank Kris & his wife for making our trip memorable. The accommodation was just perfect for us. It was away from the traffic and about 10 minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed Kris' company. He had our breakfast ready rain or shine. "Chez Jacques is a very relaxed, cozy place in a local neighbourhood away from the all-inclusive hotels. The surfspots of Tamarin Bay are at your doorstep. Manager Iwan is a genuine friendly guy and very helpful in giving advice about things to do, advice on where to surf, sorting out transport at affordable prices, etc, etc. Enjoyed my stay and without a doubt, would stay there again."

"I don't normally write reviews, let alone negative ones, but if I can save someone from experiencing this place, it's worth it. The pictures definitely don't match the listing. When we arrived, we were greeted outside the property by approximately 20 different neighborhood dogs that not only barked loudly then, but continued throughout the entire night. The bed was filthy.
