"The Woodhaven Retreat worked out perfectly for our family. The house was spacious with the right number of beds/baths. The location was very relaxing as we did not feel like we were in a metro area. We very much enjoyed the property."

House is close to town to do things with being far enough to be quite. We loved the ability to be allowed to park in the garage. "Karen's house is a wonderful property, clean, well maintained and stocked. It left nothing to be desired, especially since after arriving I found a nice welcome present in form of a fruit basket with additional treats in the kitchen. Located in a beautiful setting it was perfect for where I wanted to go during my stay. The peaceful surroundings allowed me to reflect and relax. I certainly appreciated the hospitality and will stay there again when the opportunity arises. "

"We came for a couple of hockey games and loved staying at this beautiful, cozy farmhouse. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, including recommending local restaurants. The beds are so soft and Lisa’s decorating makes you feel right at home. We had gorgeous fall weather so we spent a lot of time out on the deck with our morning coffee. The kitchen had what we needed and our hosts even left some welcoming snacks and great coffee. It is peaceful and quiet, yet only 15 minutes from downtown....

"The host was truly a Superhost! He was available at all hours (seemingly) for any questions or issues we had and if there was anything not 100%, he took care of it right away. He made sure we had a welcome gift at our arrival and the home came equipped with everything we needed for a perfect week with family. The house came equipped with board games, fishing rods and bait, life jackets, canoes/kayak, plenty of beach towels, a gas grill, and firewood for the firepit. We had all the tp we needed...

"Four Morgan siblings had a mini reunion back in Southern MN, where our father grew up and we used to vacation every summer 50-60 years ago. Nice big house, close to, but not on, the lake (as the ad seemed to imply). But very happy with our stay. If and when we head back to MN in the future, I would look for this property again, and isn't that the bottom line? And don't worry, the game room does have pool cues, even though the ad says to bring your own. Recommended."

However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. "We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s but this exceeded all of our expectations. The owners were WONDERFUL to communicate quickly and often. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and a sweet note. The home has been completely remodeled/updated and decorated so lovely! The sunroom was amazing as was the dock and chairs. Highly recommend. "
