"This was our second trip to this property and it was still great. Situated on the mountainside , in a small quiet cluster of properties, its only 5-10 minute drive to 2 gondolas accessing the ski slopes. The skiing was great. The property is very clean and comfortable. We hired both the house and apartment below, which has an indoor adjoining staircase. The children loved the bedrooms in the eaves. We mostly self catered and had everything that we needed. Loved lighting a fire for the soapstone...

"Das Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen Die Betten waren sehr gut und alles war sauber. Wir haben genossen von das Aussicht. Für altere Leute ist es schwer zu laufen nach oben und unten zu das Haus. Parken ist oben ins Dorf auf den Parkplatz Spazieren in der Umgebung war sehr schön. "

"The house and property exceeded our expectations. The Swiss look and feel was perfect. We were constantly amazed with the views. And the sound of the nearby T falls were awesome. We wish the Falls were open for a hike but they were closed for the winter season. The house was 5 minute walk to the bus station. Check with locals if the bus fare is free during non peak season. "Secluded property on the edge of town. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house or a 30 minute walk into Grindelwald. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of comforts of home make this a beautiful and welcome retreat. There are a lot of steps to gain access to the property so keep that in mind for all members of your party. "

The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald).
