"The house was just we needed for our girls weekend getaway! The beds are comfy, kitchen pretty well stocked too! We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub and of course around the fire pit at night! There is no cell service, but the manager gave us a heads up so that we could connect to the WiFi immediately to be able to get into the house! The manager was also great at communication, we had a couple issues that were quickly resolved! We would definitely stay here again!!"

"The house was the perfect setting to gather the family for my husbands 60th Birthday. The indoor pool is kept at a perfect temperature for swimming and enjoying the pool area. The fireplace in there was a great. The little ones could warm up by the fire and cooked marshmallows. That is probably where we spent the most time. The kitchen was equipped with more than I expected. The beds were all very comfortable. Are there parts of the house that need a little love? Yes of course...it's a house...

"This was our 2nd time staying at La Esperanza and we enjoyed it as much in the cold as we did in the summer! Great hiking right out the door. Campfire ring down by the water was fun for daytime s’mores. Hot tub was fun in the snow flurries. Great communication with the host, Maria."

"Our family get together of 22 over Thanksgiving found the property spacious and inviting. With seven children 7 and under, their parents, and their parents; there was plenty of kitchen space for food preparation and serving, adult and children space for entertainment, and outdoor space for play, walking and exercise. "This place was perfect for our long Thanksgiving weekend. Lots of room and very clean and cozy. We had all of our food and drink and never had to leave the place. I walked the property several times with my little dog, who loved the accommodations as well. We would like to come back in slightly warmer weather to really enjoy the outdoor space. Overall a great place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be returning to Hummingbird Holler! "

"So over all it was great! Country living is how we live at home, so this was very much like home. There are a few things to know before booking ur stay. Make sure you bring extra bath towels, wash clothes, bathroom hand towels, kitchen hand towels & dish rags as there were only 8 bath towels for 6 ppl for 6 days. And not the best towels I’d say, old. Make sure u bring trash bags as well, as there were only 2. And bring toilet paper, cuz you won’t have enough of that either! The water pressure...
