That was evident as we are avid anglers. Mt. Airy has all services and supplies one might need plus plenty of places to eat and historical things to do. The cons: Well water with sulfur smell. "Mayberry Memories was an absolute delight. Very well decorated and stocked with probably the best kitchen items I’ve had in a rental. We needed nothing extra. We were able to enjoy hanging out in the living room and around the fire pit catching up. The house is very dog friendly and mine really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. It was a pleasure they don’t have often. Beata was an awesome host staying in contact and offering little perks. Much appreciated! "

"This was a wonderful house for 6 adults. The owner was so gracious and available to help with any questions. The server at the winery was very pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine that we had at our tasting. The mountains were beautiful in the distance. My leashed dogs loved roaming the winery grounds. "

"The location was quiet and there’s a spacious area for hanging out and playing games. Plenty of sleeping space! Our dogs loved the fenced in area too. A few trails around the area, easy to get to by car. Would love to visit in warmer season. Only downside was the stairs leading to the rooms, pretty steep so may be unsafe for some pets. Also sleeps 10 but only one shower. The hot water never ran out though! Overall a great experience and very responsive hosts. "
