"We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. "This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"The barn is beautiful and Burwash is wonderful, the only minus is the access road to the barn it is off road, full of potholes and single track for about half a mile with only one passing point. Please don’t take a sports car down the Lane. If you can walk to the pub it is much better, however I would only recommend this in the summer. "Superb cottage and hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Very comfortable and very clean. Would highly recommend."

"Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "

"Staff we amazing - hospitable, friendly and really accommodating. They had great recommendations for the local area, the room was a great size for four people, and it was extremely clean. Great amenities available, and lovely surrounding area for food, pubs, and good vibes. Will definitely be returning here when I next visit!"
