"La Iglesia villa was just right for us! Walking distance to the beach is a plus! The large outdoor patio and pool is a great place to enjoy family. The only caveat is the upstairs bedroom has a shower, but no commode."

"The house was location in a safe area with walk out to the beach as advertised . The design and quality material of the house is great. However, water leaked into first floor bedroom when it rained. There was pealing of plaster on the lanai. The family room had connections for TV and other devises , but there was no TV. The TV in the bunk room was broken.The staff were attentive and the food was prepared to our request every day. None of the staff spoke English"

"We loved our stay with Sylvia. Her property is simply a tropical paradise and she and her staff are great. The accommodations are very basic, and rather quaint which suited us just fine. If you are expecting slick, new and air conditioning, this is not the place for you. But if you want a little piece of tropical beauty, with a great pool, then we would highly recommend this property. you must like dogs as well ,there are 5 of them"

We wanted to be able to walk to the beach and restaurants, but still be off the main drag so quiet. The Villa Maracuja was perfect, not fancy, but with a lovely comfortable porch, where we spent most of the time.Any issues we had were dealt with promptly by Leonardo!"

"Everything we needed. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Quiet spot, tucked away down an alley. Kitchen cabinets need upgrading, as some of the doors were falling off, and the outside shower near the pool had a leak that sprayed a lot of water into the air. I would stay here again. "

"Firstly, Hans and Maria were excellent in every aspect of personal hospitality. I could not imagine better hosts. The house itself is amazing, as are the grounds and surrounding neighborhood. Las Galeras is a wonderfully quaint small town, with plenty of amenities for a nice, quiet vacation. We will definitely be back, and look forward to continuing some great conversations and shared stories with Hans. Overall 10/10 vacation experience for sure."

"The host was amazing and was in constant commincation. There was really no need to leave the community we enjoyed beautiful views, great gym, multiple restaurants to choose from and our home had a pool. We were in Samana for a family event but had an opportunity to enjoy the amenities in the evening when we went back to the property. You will love it here. Trust me I am picky and I had no complaints."

"Very beautiful place. Also pretty quiet except one weekend nights when locals showed up. Very good amenities. The Italian chef made the only memorable food we had in Samana. The only problems where: you had to pay for cleaning everyone, not enough shampoo etc and the check-in was pretty awkward."
