"We stayed here for two nights, using it as a home base to explore Vancouver Island from Nanaimo to Courtenay-Comox. While there would have been more opportunity to use all the amenities in the summer (kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, etc.), we used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed the secure underground parking. The balcony was a really good size, and would have been great to spend more time on in the summer. The mattresses seemed very sunken - not sure if they were worn out or designed to be very...

"Other than semi-limited parking, the one night stay here was great. I had to leave my room to go to the front desk for assistance then again to pick up my food and I lost my spot both times. I ended up having to park by the next building over. The front desk staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. The pizza from the restaurant was great. Fantastic room and beautiful view of the ocean. The only other small thing is I think the coffee maker was fried so I did a make shift pour over method. "

"We forgot our shoes in the room . 2 pairs. One men’s Gucci and women’s converse. We called the hotel but they did not help me. Housekeeping guy took my number and told me he would call me back once they check the lost and found but I never received any calls from them. It’s already been more than a month now. I called them more than 10 times but no response "

"Nice sized rooms with a microwave but no kitchen utensils to really make use of it. Dated but clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but included in the price. "
