"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "

"Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks."

"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "Lock on the bathroom didn’t work, wifi not great. We stayed in number 19 flat 3. Don’t feel it should be advertised as luxury/deluxe, location really good so would recommend for that.
