"I can't say enough great things about the villa and communicating/working with Mary (the owner). She was always very prompt at responding to all my messages and answering my questions. She was super helpful with suggestions for grocery stores, tours, things to do on the island, etc. Her villa is SO AMAZING and beautiful! My family had such an amazing week there and my daughters now want to move to Curacao to live there :) I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement because everything was simply wonderful."

"Just finished our stay here. The apartment is very nice and well stocked. Facility grounds are immaculate. They are currently doing construction next door, and despite that, there was no noise we had to deal with, the grounds were still kept clean and there was no inconvenience. The pool and view onsite are amazing. It is just a short drive (about 5 minutes) to get to Coral Estate resort for the dive shop/beach/restaurants. Everyone we dealt with (here and Curacao in general) were always very helpful and nice. Beds were comfortable and patio furniture was not cheap plastic, was heavy duty. Location of the property is very secure, with a gated entrance staffed 24/7 by a guard and you have to have an ID to enter (even after you check in, ID checked every time you enter the property), then the apartments have a separate keyed gate to get in. very secure. There are a couple restaurants within Coral Estates and a couple within a short drive (15 minutes) of the apartments, beyond that you will have to take a longer trip. Would book here again."

"Beautiful villa with an amazing ocean view including spectacular sunsets. The pool was very nice and was cleaned twice during our one week stay. The pictures online accurately represent the villa, it is gorgeous. We travelled with another couple and everyone loved the property. We have been to Curacao 4 times but this was our first time at Coral Estates. We spent two weeks on the southern part of the island and our third week here. We will be back!It would be nice to have a small table for dining inside the villa because the mosquitoes come out after sunset. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. "

"We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in stunning Curaçao. This was made perfect by our staying at the amazing Jan Kok Lodges. What Frederieke and Jeroen have created is quite remarkable. An absolute little botanical garden of lodges set in a lush jungly surroundings. It is like entering a Shangri-La, a lost world, a tropical Paradise. Our hosts were always near to hand if we needed any information and were most hospitable. We stayed in the garden bungalow which was spacious and very private. We were surrounded by cacti, aloes and a profusion of tropical plants. We were awoken by the exotic sounds of beautifully coloured tropical birds. The bungalow was well appointed and the laundry and beach towels were regularly changed. The ladies who do the room service were lovely. Renting a car is essential for getting around we rented direct from Jan Kok Lodges. In the package, Jeroem met us from the airport and after a 9 hour flight from Amsterdam that was a bonus in itself as the place is tucked away and not so easy to find in the first instance. However the property is well placed to reach all the best beaches on the island. There is a relaxing pool area which we used but were out most days and ate out most evenings. There are plenty of restaurants a short drive away. If you want to get away from the tourist areas with the cheap tacky souvenir shops, bars, music and budget hotels, Jan Kok presents and oasis in the real Curaçao. You will not be disappointed! "

"Very quiet and private location. We love having different options for outside seating, there's always a spot to stay out of the sun or wind. Snorkeling off the back of the property is marvelous but depends on the weather. Watch for a calm day or get up early before the wind kicks up. House is supplied with salt and pepper and a couple spices, as well as a "starter" supply of dishwasher and laundry tabs (3 each). If you cook a lot, like we do, expect to buy your basics like oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. I brought some extra dishwasher and laundry soap so that I didn't need to buy a whole box and leave most of it behind. Bed is comfortable and AC works really well....cools the room fast and keeps it cool, even on an eco setting. Appreciate the fabulous shower with thermostatic controls which help to save on water, which is very expensive on the island. We hope to return to stay here! "
