By no means is this a “luxury” resort. A member of our party became horribly sickened by giardia, which required a visit to the emergency room when we returned home. When her severe illness was mentioned to a front office staff member, that person blew it off saying that’s lots of the staff and guests were sick. They made no effort to shut down any of the resort’s dining facilities to deep clean and sanitize surfaces in order to prevent the spread. Giardia is highly infectious and easily spread when an infected person doesn’t wash their hands after using the bathroom. Has this place learned nothing from COVID?! Kitchen workers didn’t wear gloves and cleanliness was second rate. The resort is located in a very “second world “ part of the island so maybe that’s the mentality of the workers. NEVER going back to Curaçao ever!

The snorkeling and scuba were great! Unfortunately, you do need a car when you stay here there is nothing close by and it cost $50 each way to go anywhere. The bakery/market in the front has the best prices and the best food. I did not like how you had to pay for everything immediately on your charge card. The ONLY restaurant on the property is subpar, expensive and they have many available tables, but apparently you have to be VIP drinks are expensive $14 and up. They do have a grocery service. It is approximately $18 but totally worth it because it is $30 to go to the grocery store in a taxi and they only give you 15 minutes to shop. The surrounding area is desolate. It is not walkable in any way shape or form. The front desk was our best experience. They were extremely helpful, very polite, and any issues we had were immediately solved. I would personally consider this a mini resort. The only thing available to do there is swimming snorkeling, spa treatments. They had entertainment only one night on Fridays live singer for a short time other than that there is no entertainment. Be advised the pictures for this resort are totally glossed over they look shiny and new and unfortunately it looks like that but in a tired way. The saving grace of this resort is it it is small, quiet, secluded, great water views, but I would not stay here more than five days.

The property was beautiful! I was disappointed to see that they require a minimum when using the pool. Seems a little ridiculous when you are paying a premium price to stay at the estate.

The property itself is very clean. Most of the people that work there did not smile and were not very friendly. There were a few exceptions, but overall, we were very disappointed in the staff. The location is very far from everything but in a pretty spot. Expect to spend anywhere from $60-$90 for a one-way taxi cab into town.

Great place to hang out, with access to the water, swimming and diving, no beach. Apartments are not luxurious, but have the basics. The beach restaurant is better than the rooftop by the pool. If you have a car, try out some of the many beaches along the west coast for day trips.

The resort/community is very nice, well kept and the ocean area is absolutely great! Crystal clear water great for snorkeling and baking in the Curaçao sun. The room is clean and somewhat comfortable but it is owned by someone. The room had a broken safe that barely worked, no phone (owners choice) and an iron that permanently stained a shirt. Just nitpicking, it was all forgotten because the view of that daily sunset and lightning storm off in the distance was magical. The front desk staff was nice and helpful as well. Now for the bad part. The food is just ok but the service is absolutely terrible. Slowest service we have ever experienced. It’s so slow it almost seems intentional. But let me be clear it’s not the staffs fault, IT’S MANAGEMENTS. They are poorly trained and not forced to work efficiently. So if you are reading this manager of food and beverage, get your act together! All in all great trip but honestly not due to the resort but to the fact that Curaçao is a majestic place. If not for this fact they would have received 2 stars.

Fantastic experience here. As a diver I enjoyed the onsite diving available! My four year old attended with me, all the staff was incredible and beyond friendly and she ate meals at all three on site restaurants. It’s a pretty central location in a much quieter area of the island allowing you to be away from the hustle and bustle in the evenings but access to malls, shopping was very easy and quick. Many beaches nearby and lots of ease of exploring. A security guard check allowed me to feel safe and comfortable!

My wife and I stayed at 3 different hotels over the spand of 7 night stay in curacao, we choose Coral Luxury Estate as the last and I wish we didn't choose this hotel at all. It was by far the most inconvenient, boring, unreliable hotel that was not as advertised. The drive into the hotel property is approximately 15-20 mins, the road is narrow with NO street lights which makes it dangerous for driving at nights, On arriving at the hotel, the staff wasn't welcoming, and the check in process is long and tedious, even after booking on Expedia. On arrival they give us a coupon for free drinks along with two wash-out towels that had holes in them. (these was supposed to be beach towels) These towels look like they been through a worldwar and is an embarrassment and disrespectful to give to paying Guest. Btw, if you need new towels you to to bring them all the way to reception to have them changed. One of the most annoying thing was their cleaning staff. I left the sign for housekeeping and left for the day, when we returned at night the roon wasn't cleaned and the garbage we left neatly to be thrown out remain there and smelled terrible.. When we called the reception they offered a half hearted apology and brought a garbage bag 2 hours later. The room floor was cold with no bedroom slippers, No bathroom mats, the bathroom design is terrible as water will flow out the bathroom. No iron, or clothing steamer. And that ugly painting in the room is terrifying to look at.

The resort itself is really, really nice, but your dining options are limited to the resort's 3 resturants or one or two up the road. We stayed for only 4 nights and ate in 2 of them cause we had a place to cook. The resort is close to beaches if you have access to a car. The beach here was nice, but it is man made.

Ficamos hospedados na parte que chamam de area vip adults only. Gostamos bastante, o hotel é lindo, a cama super hiper mega confortável. A limpeza é otima! A propriedade conta com 3 restaurantes, o que fica logo na entrada tem uma sopa de abobora muito gostosa que não me recordo quando custou, o coral foi o restaurante que eu mais fui por ter mais opções de comidas "gostosas", o karakter fui jantar uma vez e não voltei mais. Achei muito caro e a comida não é gostosa.

This place is absolutely amazing. I felt very safe staying here. But if you're staying at the garden apartments, let me warn you now. The birds will steal your food 😅 don't forget to put everything up even the coffee was interesting for the birds 😉 they are lovely to watch 😀 so many different birds 🐦 I just want to mention Ashanti at the bakery and Jonathan at karakter. They were absolutely amazing and i would come back just to see them again 😁

My husband and I came to Curacao for our 25th anniversary and chose this property for it’s on site dive shop. We rented an efficiency in the VIP adults only section to have some peace and quiet and a kid free pool. We were thrilled with our room and our view from our small and very private patio overlooking the water. Our room was simply and tastefully decorated, had a Nespresso original machine for coffee, cups, plates, utensils, electric kettle and skillet, and a small refrigerator. It was everything we needed for a self catered breakfast and lunch set up. We found groceries about 20 minutes away and weren’t disappointed by the selection. Pizza and More, the restaurant on property, has good pizza, pasta and baked goods. I often went first thing in the morning for fresh croissants to add to our bacon and eggs or to make a sandwich for lunch. The other two restaurants we tried once each for dinner and found them to be just ok and definitely not worth the price. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day. Our wonderful housekeeper was thorough- mopping our tracked in beach mess every day. She did our dishes a few times when we left quickly in the morning for an early dive day too. Fresh towels, a clean bathroom and a made bed go a long way when you’ve had a day playing. Loud power tool and construction noise from work going on early in the morning in a unit very near us was resolved quickly by management. We’d definitely return here.

Pros: The resort was beautifully landscaped and well maintained. It was also very clean and the staff was very friendly. The water at the beach is pristine and clear as glass and you can see many many fish at the reef near off the shore. Their retaining walled beach is kept very clean. Cons: The pool is very small (if you would compare it to regular resorts in places like Mexico, Cuba or Dominican Republic). This is likely bc fresh water is very expensive on Curacao as it is all coming from a reverse osmosis plant. The service and the food (and this seems to be a common trend on the island) was only partially good. Where staff was always friendly (at the resort and everywhere else too), the quality of service was maybe 3/10 (at all restaurants on the island). Each day, the maid who cleaned our room forgot to restock something, whether that was replacing all dirty towels, restocking coffee or TP. Every day something was missing. We only ate once at the restaurant by the beach and it tasted awful. We had nachos and the chef did just about everything you could do wrong making this dish. We complained & it was removed from our bill. General note about Curacao: we went all over the island. We had one good tasty meal at a Dutch restaurant. Everything else was bland and not very good (it looked good tho). Service was poor everywhere, but staff nice. Prices are high everywhere, not just this resort. Make your own breakfast if you want to save some $.
