"Situated on an isolated raised area just on the edge of the town this is a spacious property with comfortable beds. It is however rather bland inside with sparce furniture. It needs a table and chairs for eating together with a coffee table to help fill the space. The main lights in the bedrooms have no shades or ceiling rose, just the bulb hanging on the cable. We enjoyed our stay and made use of the pool and outdoor loungers. Overall we would recommend this property but it needs the addition...

"Arrivés la nuit sous la pluie, avec comme adresse le code qui permet d'ouvrir une boite contenant les clefs. Enfin, après trois heures de recherches, grâce aux locaux rencontrés, nous avons enfin trouvé la maison et la personne qui devait nous accueillir. Lits inconfortables, pas de couverture, télé qui ne fonctionne pas etc.. Nous avons tenté de contacter l'agence soit par téléphone, (numéros fournis par Abritel)soit par mail, aucune réponse, nous étions livrés à nous mêmes, ce n'est vraiment...

"The property is very unique, special. Located directly on the Douro river with incredible views. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean. The food cooked for us was always in abundance and delicious. They, Elena and Claudia, looked after our needs (dining, drinks, laundry, etc) very well and kindly. Pedro as our concierge was incredibly valuable. He helped us with every aspect of our stay - securing boat moorings, confirming reservations, acting as a translator, helping above and...

"Petite pause sur le retour vers la France. Site et région magnifique. La vue du bord de la piscine est tres relaxante. La situation est idéale pour les amateur d'activité fluviale et de vin. Les hôtes sont tres sympas, anglais et portugais parlé. Accueilli avec un plateau apéritif et du vin de la region et petit dejeuner copieux offert le lendemain. Je recommande vivement.
