"Loved the pool, very nice hosts, great breakfast, room was nice, however the description of amenities is not accurate - there was not air conditioning in the room, or is there a restaurant or pool side bar, which left us stuck for lunch when enjoying the pool. We booked a rook with river view but did not receive it. That all being said we did enjoy the place - but just beware or what is not accurate "

"Our stay for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary was exceptional in every way! The views of the land are breath taking, walking around the beautiful property and enjoying the pool was relaxing (we had good sunny weather..the pool was on the chilly side but we and eventually 2 other couples all went in for a refreshing dip!) "We had a wonderful stay at Julio's place. He greeted us personally at the door, walked is through the place, got us settled and invited us to a glass of Port. His place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Great to be beside a working vineyard, lovely outside patio although we enjoyed it only briefly due to the weather. You do need a car to enjoy this lovely place. We'd be happy to come again. "

"My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...
