"A fabulous little property which is perfect for a couple. The location is private from the house and very well equipped, the salt water pool is lovely. Access to the bedroom and bathroom is via a spiral staircase - so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The agents were very helpful and the information comprehensive. A real gem."

"The backyard and pool area was great. The house is very cute. The interior of the house was not very clean. There were many cobwebs, the floors were dirty, the furniture and bedding was older and stained, a dirty mop and bucket sat by the toilet, etc. Not as many amenities provided as in other VRBO’s we have rented in the area - ie no dish soap, hand soap, pool towels, all beds made regardless of the number of guests etc. We also paid twice as much as the listed rate because of the summer season and did not find the value as the cleanliness issue kept us from enjoying the property to its fullest."

"We stayed for two weeks and appreciated having this house as a base from which to take daily driving trips in the Perigord. The nearby town of Lalinde had all the services we needed, such as bakery, supermarket, gas station, hair salon, post office, cafes and a good restaurant on the main square. The Thursday market was great! We took day trips to Sarlat, Lascaux IV, the Sunday market at Issigeac, Eymet, La Roque-Gageac and many other charming villages. The region is beautiful and varied. The house itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the house is quiet and dark at night. The kitchen is well designed, the fridge large, the washing machine and drying racks handy so we could do laundry during our stay. The pool, which we did not use due to the rainy weather, looked beautiful, as did the whole property. Parking is easy. The house would be particularly well suited for a family with young children, as it has a cute little playroom, bunk beds, a spacious gated garden and the pool. The only negative for us was that the house did not get internet or cell phone reception. We had to drive into Lalinde for that. I think the listing should specify that internet coverage is not reliable, as that might be important for some people. Can that be fixed? All in all, a very nice house and a lovely stay. Thank you!"
