"In all a good holiday, but spoilt by minor issues. When asked about our arrival time we requested that we leave our cases at the property to have room to go shopping before our occupancy time. This was refused. We identified a broken shower and faulty air conditioning unit and waited until the Monday to report. Shower was fixed on last day of stay and air conditioning unit remained unfixed. The heat in the bedroom meant poor and uncomfortable sleeping. We were asked what time we planned to leave. We replied that the guest house would be available for cleaning on the Friday, and the last to leave would be CC 11.00am on Saturday. No thanks for allowing early cleaning of the Guest house and a curt reminder to vacate by 10am. So we had the felling of being tollerated rather than welcome."

"Brian and Helen were there to greet us as soon as we arrived, they were so friendly, accommodating and informative. Providing a full guided tour of their beautiful property and the extensive amenities available. Also provided throughout the stay alot of local information on events and things to see and do, best parking locations in local towns etc, which was extremely helpful. Beautiful, quiet and scenic location, with a stunning pool and a lovely local restaurant in the village. accommodation is very well thought out, and extremely well equipped, also the communication leading into the holiday was great and meant we didnt bring things we didn't need. Can't wait to go back and enjoy another fun filled family holiday....would definitely recommend."

"We stayed for two weeks and appreciated having this house as a base from which to take daily driving trips in the Perigord. The nearby town of Lalinde had all the services we needed, such as bakery, supermarket, gas station, hair salon, post office, cafes and a good restaurant on the main square. The Thursday market was great! We took day trips to Sarlat, Lascaux IV, the Sunday market at Issigeac, Eymet, La Roque-Gageac and many other charming villages. The region is beautiful and varied. The house itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the house is quiet and dark at night. The kitchen is well designed, the fridge large, the washing machine and drying racks handy so we could do laundry during our stay. The pool, which we did not use due to the rainy weather, looked beautiful, as did the whole property. Parking is easy. The house would be particularly well suited for a family with young children, as it has a cute little playroom, bunk beds, a spacious gated garden and the pool. The only negative for us was that the house did not get internet or cell phone reception. We had to drive into Lalinde for that. I think the listing should specify that internet coverage is not reliable, as that might be important for some people. Can that be fixed? All in all, a very nice house and a lovely stay. Thank you!"
