"We needed a place to stay for two days until we could get into a condo on the beach we were staying for the month of May. We'd stayed here about 10 years ago when we met with contractors for walk through and during total remodel project of the beach condo. This stay was an even better experience. The front desk staff ( all shifts) we dealt with were professional, helpful and very friendly. My husband was recovering from a medical situation and the housekeeping staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests to help him be comfortable and get good rest while staying at Spark. The only downside was being woken by garbage trucks emptying dumpsters at close by restaurants at 5AM. Of course, that's not anything Spark has control over. And, it was convenient to have several good eatery's with-in walking distance."

"This location was wonderful for me!! As a single female traveler, I felt very safe, the location was within a safe walking distance to everything. My room and the property were clean and well maintained. They were very accomodating in providing complimentary beach chairs, cooler, beach wagon, bicycles! I would definitely stay there again!!"

"I was born in Sarasota, and this particular location I am very fond of because it's so close to the Van Weizel center and beautiful Sarasota Bay. Staff were great! It happened to be prom week when we were there and also some youngsters from a soccer tournament but everybody was extremely well mannered and appeared to be having a great time, and a great staff seems to make that happen. The pool was very active and the hot tub was very nice as well. My only serious issue was parking previously they allowed the parking garage on a non-valet option. Now the parking garage is valet only and your only option is off-site parking. So if you don't want to pay $45 per day plus tipping, you have to park off-site and leave your vehicle at risk."

"Room was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Clean throughout the facility. Nice sitting area outside. A nice pool and bar area on top....i was unhappy with parking situation. $50 bucks a day."

"The hotel is next to the beach, walking to the beach is easy. A lot of dinning options just several minutes walking away. Even due to cutting the tree we couldn’t park the car next to our room, but the staff offered parking very close by. Front desk was very nice and helpful as well. "
