"Great location 5-10 minutes by car from Eat Street/downtown Rotorua. Nice to have a lake view especially late at night and first thing in the morning. Unfortunately the grassed reserve in front of the lake is covered in doggy doos - not impressed with the local dog owners.... The house is comfortable with a great garden and lawn - beds are comfortable and the environs are quiet. House as such is 40 odd years old and the "styling" reflects this. "We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was absolutely perfect for visiting the Tree Walk—it’s just about a 15-minute walk to the ticket office, which made it super convenient. We highly recommend doing the Tree Walk both during the day and at night to fully experience its magic. The house itself was wonderful. The bedrooms were spacious, and everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. There’s also a nice selection of shops and restaurants just a few minutes...

"First off, for some reason I thought this was a fancy new home from the listing, but actually it's an older home with some recent freshening up. Everything was clean, e.g. linens, towels, carpet, counters, but there were a few minor scuffs on walls and a little bit of mold in the shower. The house is on the lake with a nice view and backyard.
